well, i've finally reached the end of my chain with my landlord.
It started about 6 months ago when he decided to put this apartment complex up for sale, guess he wants out of the business. You'd think he'd stay reasonable for those still renting from him wouldn't you? think again.
I've made many protests with him about stuff failing, he's never done a thing, until recently when i had to bug him time and again, think he finally fixed the fridge to shut me up. Move along to now. My gf and i are trying for a new apartment. alls going well until they have to contact the landlord. what does he do? Screws my chances for a new place because he didn't aprove of my gf living with me, and the place is a mess. Slight problem, he nver talked to me about him not liking my gf being here, so should he be able to use it as a reason? I think not. He's been downright stupid recently as he wants me out, but the very time i'm trying to leave, he pulls this stunt. If i could, and wouldn't get in trouble for it, i'd wind up and hit him acrossed the face so hard right now.
why don't you try communicating effectively with him about your feelings?
i've tried talking to him, he ignores me or goes running to my aunt over it. it's to the point now he'll just kick me out rather than actually talk to me
